The Company & The Owner
3rd Coast Lyfestyle is founded and owned by Matthew Abitbol. Matthew Abitbol was born and raised in the Chicago area and first began running in 2008 shortly after losing 100 pounds. Matt founded Commonwealth Running Company back in 2019 is the embodiment of his dream to grow the sport of running and to give back to the sport of running. It is a locally owned, independent, full-service running store.
Since 2019 running and living an outdoor lifestyle have really grown together. Promoting running and health go hand-in-hand. So, in 2025 Matt decided to open his first lifestyle and outdoor shop: 3rd Coast Lyfestyle.

Our mission is to provide people with premium products for their everyday life as well as their outdoor adventures. Be happy and healthy however you like! We want people to achieve all of their goals and to do it looking and feeling great!
